We just got back from Solar Power International in Orlando, Florida where we had a great time networking with people in the solar industry. We sponsored a booth with the North Carolina Solar Center. The conference was huge with over 1100 companies large and small showcasing the latest innovations in products and services. The Orange County Convention Center itself boasts a fully functioning 1-megawatt PV array on the roof that produces approximately 1,400 megawatt hours of electricity per year (enough to power 100 homes) as well as four 10-kilowatt experimental systems. This is the largest rooftop PV system in the southeastern United States.

We enjoyed being part of the NC Solar Center booth which was shared by several other North Carolina companies and non profit organizations as well. We were delighted to meet new clients Linda Hanykova and John Donaghue of Cape Fear Solar Systems in Wilmington, NC. You can check out their site and and learn about what they are up to down at the beach.

We attended the Funky Monkey wine party the last night and got to hang out with Betsy McCorkle and the folks from the NC Solar Center as well as see our clients Erik Lensch, Clay Hartman and Rob Lease from Argand Energy.  We always enjoy working with Argand and are excited about their upcoming projects in the industry.
