RB Engineering performed the structural engineering services for the latest addition to the Elledge Waste Water Treatment Plant, the Winston-Salem/ Forsyth County, North Carolina Biosolids Storage Facility.

Our structural services included design and construction plans for a 60,000 square foot biosolids storage facility that included a slab, perimeter wall, foundation and steel walkway design.

Sludge will now be transported via the below conveyor system and stored within the structure. Trucks can position themselves underneath the conveyor within the structure and quickly load up their tanks. Construction time spanned approximately twelve months.

The Elledge Waste Water Treatment Plant design and construction plan makes it possible for the trucks to position themselves underneath the conveyor within the structure and quickly load up their tanks.
